We envision a world where everyone can explore and create meaningful connections with the people and places we encounter. Building meaningful connections across cultures enables us to respond to diversity with curiosity, appreciation and respect. The appreciation of diversity spreads tolerance and creates a global community.
What is a Vision Statement?
This Vision Statement is crafted as a compass for volunteers and staff of the CouchSurfing organization.
It gives shape and direction to our future. It should resonate with all members of the organization and help them feel proud and excited to be part of something bigger than themselves.
This vision should push CouchSurfing’s capabilities and image of itself.
Our Vision Statement should not be confused with our Mission Statement or our Strategy
- Our Vision describes our ideal future for the world.
- Our Mission describes what our organization does to achieve our Vision-- it's how we get there.
- Our Strategy describes specific goals, actions we take, and how we allocate resources in order to serve our Mission and achieve our Vision.
