Right, you certainly know the two things that made the humble city of Manchester, England quite famous : football (soccer for non-Europeans) and incredibly good music. So, my plan will be to celebrate both sides of Manchester on this Saturday night 1st of Dec. in Vienna, with this timetable :
- Start at Charlie P's Pub (Währinger Strasse 3) with Manchester United's game at Reading (6.30 - 8.15 pm)
- Middle still at Charlie P's Pub with the derby from Turin, Italy between Juventus and Torino (especially for our Torino fan Leonardo, 8.45 - 10.30 pm)
- Joining afterwards the magnificent 60s and indie pop party "Magic Carpet Ride" in Wirr Nachtcafe (Burggasse 70), called "The Smiths Special" (a classic and cult band from Manchester with the legendary singer Morrissey) and the excellent Austrian pop band Velojet offering a DJ-set (before 11 pm, so entry is cheaper - til they close !)

This said, if you are not fond of either football or indie pop music, you can join us at any moment, and speak some French/Italian/English/German in between. When you register, please tell me if you are with us all the time or just at some points, so I can try to book a table for all participants in all places. Thanks ! But just one question then : how soon is now ?
