Have a casual run/jog/walk/boogie around Albert Park Lake to melt away the excesses of the weekend, followed by a picnic or barbecue on Wednesday the 30th. All speeds/fitness levels welcome. (And if you just want to come for the picnic, that's fine too.)
One lap of Albert Park Lake is about 5k, although you don't have to run the whole way around if you don't want to. (Or, you can run more if you're awesome.)
Afterward, we'll chill out near the lake and have a picnic while enjoying the view of the cityscape. Albert Park also has BBQs so feel free to bring something to grill. I can store stuff in my MSAC locker during the run, but it will need to be on ice if it's perishable.
Meet us at the grassy area just outside the 112 tram stop for the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (so tram line 112, stop 131).
Trams 112 and 96 run to Albert Park. If you take the 96, you'll need to get off at stop 129 and walk about 10-15 min northeast to get to the meeting place. I've marked it with a pin on the map.
Yay, fitness. Or at least pretending to be fit while getting rid of hangovers.
