"A Music-infused Evening of Performance, Open Play, Dance, Classes and Refreshments"

Join us for this very special experience at Athletic PlayGround. We’ll begin the evening with beautiful performances. Then the playing and dancing begin! The Savanna Room will be covered with mats for open play all evening. In the Canyon Room we’ll hold a variety of dance activities. Upstairs we'll have Thai Massage mini-classes.
DJ Baron von Spirit will provide the soundscape for the evening, playing a range of musical rhythms and grooves perfect for dance and movement play. Baron von Spirit is a resident DJ for Ecstatic Dance Oakland and plays for the West Coast Contact Improv Festival among other venues and events. http://www.baronvonspirit.com He'll be bringing in a special audio system for great dance and play sound!

8:30-9:15pm Contact Improv. CLASS with Karl Frost
9:30-10:30pm Uptempo OPEN Dance with Baron Von Spirit
10:30-11:30pm Downtempo OPEN Dance with Baron Von Spirit

Mini Thai Massage CLASSES in the Canopy Room with Anjuli and Alok.

8:30-9:15pm, 9:30-10:15pm & 10:30-11:15pm

Classes are included in the price. Classes are limited in size (16 participants) and will be first come, first served (we will have a class sign in sheet by Canopy room). No experience or partner is necessary for any of the classes.

Refreshments will include an abundance of baked goods and pizza from Arizmendi Bakery!
