Another one of the great houseparties at the Maloca, a/k/a Brasil Haus.

This time it's a farewell for Bruno and for me -- coincidentally we'll both (separately) be heading off to Brazil this coming week, to spend a couple of months there.

Everyone is welcome. If it isn't clear to someone, as this is a house party there's no charge to come in and it's BYOB ("bring-your-own-booze/buddha", for those not fully acquainted with Canadian culture).
Night buses run until late, and you WILL be there until late! Use Google Maps or the Translink website if you need to plan your way there and/or back by bus/SkyTrain.

I'll be, as usual, playing my usual dance floor hits, including a lot of soul, funk, 50s/60s R&B, Rock'n'Roll, samba, forró etc.

There is also a good chance, as at every one of these parties, that the members of Brejera, the in-Haus band, will break out the instruments to play some live batucada and samba.

A lot of good music, dancing, laughter and new friendships are all guaranteed to those who come.
