On our collective dumpster hunt last weekend we decided to make a dumpster cookout/bbq/picnic in 2 weeks. The Flagstaff gardens next to the QV markets have public barbecues, water fountains, public toilets, etc.

The idea is something like this:

Any time, preferably a 1-3 days before: Everyone who has time goes dumpstering at some supermarkets, ideally in small teams and collects anything that might be of use.

Friday evening: Check out the bins of Laurents Bakery. They are everywhere in the city and always have delicious bread and pastry.

Saturday afternoon (4pm): Collective hunting on the QV market.

Saturday evening (5pm): Meet at Flagstaff gardens, cook, eat, be happy :)
