I've been struck by the need to go on a long bike trip, and Queenstown seems like a decent destination. I thought I would post it to the forum to see if there were any other adventurous cyclists inclined to join in the fun!

It's about 1000 kilometers, and we'd most likely do it in 10-15 days. If you couldn't tell yet, I'm fairly relaxed about this and have no itinerary whatsoever. I do, on the other hand, have heaps of cycling experience and have no worries about getting all the way without too many hassles. Some nights we'll camp, others we'll crash in a hostel, others we may find a friendly kiwi to let us stay in the barn.
