Hello Couchsurfers!
At the top of the Dois Irmaos Mountain we gonna have one of the best views of Rio de Janeiro. You can see a lot of the Zona Sul, including the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana. The Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the Cristo Redentor statue, Pedra da Gavea, Pedra Bonita, and Niteroi across the Guanabara Bay. Also you can see an amazing view of Rocinha, one of the biggest favelas in South America.

In case of bad weather the event will be canceled!

HIKING TIME - 1 hour (no climbing, just walking)

WHAT TO BRING? Water, Towel/Canga, snacks, sunblocker (no place to hide from the sun up there) and also swimsuit if you wanna go to the beach after!

HOW TO GET THERE? Get the subway to General Osorio station, then:
A) you can get the subway bus at general osorio heading to alvorada (ask for Vidigal)
B) you can get a van at the beach heading to Leblon (ask for Vidigal)
