This time we would like to cycling in most beautiful, traditional cycling path in Hong Kong. that would be a lot of people and lot of fun.
we starting gathering from Tai Wai Station Exit F 2pm, we could eat something nearby. then some of us could rent a bike.(if you have your own bike, you could bring that out also(Highly recommendation)), then we cycling through
Tolo Harbour then our destination is Plover Cove Reservoir
Tolo HarBour provides some stunning views of New Territories on a nice day. You might see lots of local people cycling with friends/family at weekends. Due to 13 Feb is CNY Holiday, so that would also have a lot of people lot of fun.
I will guide the attendees how to cycling from Tai Wai Station to Plover Cove ,then we could dismiss and dinner in Tai Po Station. That's take less then 5 hours and we could have a great meeting with new friends.
the path is all in cycling track and approximate 25 km, we would ride pretty slow and I hope everyone is safety to complete the journey and enjoying the Full beautiful Hong Kong seaside view cycling track.
Please wear loose and comfortable clothes and bottles of water.
I might cancel the event if it gets too rainy... Keep an eye on the event page for any update. Hope to see you all on Wednesday!!
Further enquiry you could find me at 60341807 Tony or leave message here.
Although there is not a law to wear helmet in Hong Kong while you cycling, in case safety you could optional to have a helmet or any other enhancing protection equipment to cycling.
What-more. If you like to continue cycling after the event, under Hong Kong law, the bicycle suppose to have the front WHITE light and rear Red light when darkness to ensure other road user safety.
and if your bicycle can take off front wheels temporarily or fold-able , you also could bring it to using Metro as well.
Hope to see you especially who would like to enjoying local culture about cycling Hong Kong.
