Then come with us to visit some alternative (i.e., nude / gay / whatever / far-away) beaches in the western part of the city.

We’ll be heading out on after Carnaval ends on the morning of Wednesday, 13 February 2013.

LOGISTICS:
WHEN - Meet at 9:30am (for a 10am departure)
WHERE - The plaza outside the southern entrance of Cardinal ARCOVERDE Metro Station in Copacabana; we will take public transport out west to the Praia do Grumari and walk across the beach and maybe over to Praia Funda, Praia do Meio, and Praia dos Buzios (inaccessible by road).

REMEMBER TO BRING:
- Solid hiking / walking shoes
- 2 liters of water (at least)
- Rain gear (just in case)
