Hi there,

I'm organizing a hike in the area of the Montnegre mountain, north of Barcelona, next to the coast.

This is a short summary of the plan:

- Meeting point: In front of Cafeteria ARS (next to the metro entrance), Saturday, Feb 16th, at 6:20.
- Barcelona Sants (06:46) - Sant Celoni (07-33). Price: 4.55€ (Zone 5)

- Canet de Mar (16:00, 16:30, 17:00,...) - Barcelona Sants (1 hour later). Price: Unknown (Zone 4)

The hike is not technically difficult, but it's quite demanding ( 1000m elevation gain). So, just come if you know what it means, you have hiking experience and you're sure you can do it (no transportation in any middle point). It should take 7 hours + stops to reach the end, so I expect to take the train back between 16h to 17h (sunset is at 18:20).

Make sure you bring all the required stuff, food, water, proper clothes and shoes. Check the forecast before the hike, so you're prepared for the weather we'll have:

I'll bring a map and a GPS to find our path. But if you can bring yours, do it, having backups is always good.
