Dear Friends,
Please help us welcome the Year of the Snake at the Lunar New Year Parade this Saturday, February 16, in downtown Flushing, Queens. There is an indoor cultural performance as well as a variety of places to eat afterwards.
The Lunar New Year is an American holiday that's been celebrated in the United States for the past two centuries. Whether you enjoy traditional cultural performances or the world-class cuisine, Flushing offers a range of activities to kick off the turbulence and excitement promised by the Water Snake. The best way to celebrate is to participate in Flushing's Lunar New Year Parade, which attracts people from around the region.
If you would like to march with me, please assemble by 9:30AM in the One Flushing office, located at 39-01 Main Street, Suite 511 (within a block of the 7 Train subway station). Hope to see you then!
