The upcoming weekly meeting will be at The Met (in Gastown, on Abbottt near Hastings), from 7pm onwards. This is a great spot and often the site of "post weekly meeting" dancing so I've decided to combine the two.

Because of the hockey game they are reserving only 20 seats for us and the rest is standing room. That's what we do often anyways so I figure it should work out fine. Later into the evening they bring in a DJ and open up the dance floor. Its always fun at The Met and we can change up the meetings with a bit of dancing later on for those who want to strut their stuff on the dance floor. They also have pool tables.

Specials are:
$2 glasses of draft beer
$6 beer and burger
$8.75 can and shot

Please remember that taxes and tip are extra (15% tip is customary, more if you think the service was great.) They cash and credit card and have an ATM onsite. Please make sure you have valid ID if arriving later on as they do check later in the evening.

Closest skytrain is Waterfront and then walk several blocks into Gastown along Cordova or Hastings. As well there are numerous buses that run along Hastings to Abbott.
