We are the Berlin Play Reading Group. We meet to read famous and not-so-famous plays. No experience whatsoever needed. Newcomers welcome.
The procedure is as follows: We select a play and everybody prepares at home (reading the play once at least) and then we meet.
Next Sunday on our list: Harold Pinter: The Caretaker, in English.
THE LIGHTS FADE TO BLACKOUT.
THEN UP TO DIM LIGHT THROUGH THE WINDOW.
A door bangs.
Sound of a key in the door of the room.
DAVIES enters, closes the door, and tries the light switch, on, off, on, off.
Featuring a putlock dinner, so bring anything you'd like to eat!
Place: At Julia's home in Friedrichshain; Address will be announced later, probably by PM.
Interested? It's fun! And it would be great to have you on board! You can also just come for watching.
Please also join on Facebook if you are there - then it's easier to assing the roles and all that.
