In March 2008 I started with the Family-welcome-map.
The idea behind this map is to create a visual thing for active couch surfing families.

Every 6 months every family or person who is on the map get a message. You have to answer this message to show us that you still are active on the CS-project.

So you, as a user, can be sure that everyone on this map is real active and welcoming families.
