The Inland Empire, colloquially known as the IE, is an urban area centered around the cities of Riverside and San Bernardino in Southern California. Although the region has its roots in agriculture, primarily citrus and wine-making, the IE is now home to millions of residents and dozens of worthwhile attractions.
The Inland Empire begins west of the San Gabriel Valley east to the Coachella Valley in the East. It is surrounded to the north by Kern County and to the south by the OC...
It features both the Cleveland and San Bernardino National Forests, two state parks, two state recreations areas, one state historic park and 7,000 foot high Big Bear Lake and mile-high Lake Arrowhead.
Cities and towns in the Inland Empire include Chino, Claremont, Corona, Fontana, Highland, La Verne, Lake Perris, Ontario, Pomona, Redlands, Riverside and San Bernardino...
IE has also been referred to as the "909" which is one of the region's area codes, as if to say it's LA's less desirable cousin,
BUT THIS GROUP IS HERE TO TELL YOU OTHERWISE....
