Please post any requests for couches in the San Francisco Bay area to this group.

Please do not post in the main SF Bay area or other SF Bay subgroups looking for a couch.

This group exists to avoid cluttering up the main SF groups.

This group is for people looking for couches and hosts looking for surfers.

YOU SHOULD STILL SEND OUT COUCHSURF REQUESTS TO INVIDUAL MEMBERS AFTER READING THEIR PROFILES. THIS IS THE SAFER WAY TO SURF AND MAKES IT BETTER TO FIND A HOST YOU WILL LIKE.
Read each of the profiles carefully. CS is a platform for meeting people and creating friendships. Do you have interests in common, hobbies, profession, outlook on life? Does this person seem like somebody you could get along with?

Also, please make sure you clearly STATE THE DATES for when you need a couch. This is important as we receive many posts that don't clearly state the period people plan to be in the SF Bay Area.
