In Sanlitun oder Wudaokou findest du schöne Kneipen, damit du Musik machen kannst.Aber es ist nicht so einfach, ein Platz zu finden. Actually a public square is the best place to play music in Beijing(not Tian'anmen),like the square in front of Wudaokou Hualian Plaza,Zhongguancun Plaza or Sanlitun SOHO.Casually, people will gather around&become audience if a band or a singer play music there. Ni Hao Katia, You might find interesting to listen those tracks (remixed from original recordings) : https://soundcloud.com/kink-gong Laurent also mix those sounds together http://official.fm/tracks/2aWg and a documentary trailer is visible here : http://davidarthurharris.com/small_path_music.html Interesting stuff to me : i wish to share. He might be able to give u info. Mathias did a trip about jew harp from Europe back and forth by land, here is an article, you might be able to exchange with him. http://mathias.lazuro.net/2011/11/cd-mongol-mongolia-and-china/ To me you can find music in cities, from here to there you ll find good traditionnal musicians as they can live from it in some places. I would say this would be partly or mainly about han traditionnal music or han influenced minorities (as the Bai and Naxis in Yunnan who also perform in orchestras who are much influenced by han music). Then in the villages and couties mentionned by Olivier, and in Yunnan I would say, you can "fall on" an event including traditonnal music (more or less remote ethnic minorities ceremonies). I just wish you luck for that ! Merry xmas |
