Jilin Lantern Festival

Hello !

I plan to go to Jilin during the Festival. But coming from Kasghar, I would like to know the exact dates (which I didn't find on the internet) as I need to carefully plan.

Can anyone guide me a little bit ? Any advices (yep, I'll take warm clothes...) ? Anyone planning to be around ?

The chinese lantern festival is on 24th February, but the Harbin Ice Festival is called Ice Lantern Festival too...

Don`t know which you`re talking about, but the Harbin Ice Festival begins on 5th january and is hold during less than two months, while the chinese Lantern Festival is hold during 24th February night...

Is there any special reason to go to Jilin during any of these festivals?
