Hey China and its great people!:-)

Would you like to find a partner for a few winter trips? Or are you living in the are would like to take a few days off and go for a trip to enjoy time together?:-) Or are you staying in the area and would like to meet up and give me some tips?:-) All is fine! Carry on reading then!:-)

I´m Alenka from the Czech republic studying in China (Kunming) right now, I´m having winter holiday for more than 1 month after 12th January 2013 and decided today it woul be terrific go to Lanzhou that time and experience winter in China (I´m used to winter from CR and love it! Actually I´m missing winter a lot now in Kunming:-))

Soooo, if you are planning your winter trip/trips and don´t wanna escape winter to the south, go on reading:-)
My plan is pretty flexible, I´ve got a few places marked on a map which are worth seeing (such as Xinning, Qinghai Hu, Jiayuguan, Dunhuang - as probably the most West destination, Great Wall near those places, temples, some hiking,... and if there´s time and vigour then also the other way from Lanzhou to north Shaanxi or Nei Menggu,...), but I´m also open to anything what pops up on the way:-)

Only musts are - meeting wonderful people, having adventure, seeing gorgeous places, practising a bit of Chinese and having great time:-) Basically to escape the city.

I can speak Czech (of course:-)), English and basic Chinese. Also studied German (ages ago) so I´m able to understand quite a lot:-)
I love backpacking, and I take it easy (no tight planning and booking tickets months in advance:-D), love having space for unexpected situations:-)

This is gonna be my first backpacking in China, jej!:-) So I´m really excited! At the same time I would naturally appreciate to meet nice and realiable people, who are as able as me give each other support when needed:-)
Soooo, are there such people who will be in Gansu/Qinghai/east Xinjiang after 12th January and would like to do something with that?:-) (I´m gonna book my ticket to Lanzhou on Monday.)
