Trip to Japan Spring 2013, Mars - April. Want to come along?

Greetings fellow CS:ers!

My name is Lars, I'm a 21 year old swede, hungering for new adventures. This spring I'm planning a 2 month trip to Japan and Korea. I'm planning to spend about 6 weeks or so in Japan.

I'm fine traveling on my own, done so quite a bit in the past, but I also enjoy company.

I'm a spontaneous traveller, so I don't make much plans. I basically just do whatever I feel like and get inspired by the moment.

I'm thinking of spending about 2 weeks in Tokyo and then travel around cool cities, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and hopefully some smaller places. I'd like to try some hot springs, see some temples, do a little clubbing eat strange stuff and just experience Japan.

If you feel like talking more about it send me a line or post something here. Maybe we can hang out for a day or a week, we'll see what happens.

I'll be in Japan from the 15th of March to the 15th of April.

I'll start my travel by train around the country from Osaka and I'm planning the stops in this weeks.

Hello, Im also visiting Japan at this time, i will be placed in Nagasaki ( fer.1 to march 1. cca) at first and after i like to travel around Kyushu.. after by train and hith.
So if we all can join, it will be fun.

I'm Kat and I'm going to be in Japan for three months.

I will be in Tokyo for a week from 30th-5th of April, and Kyoto from the 5th till the 11th. Then I will be Wwoofing!!

I'm staying in Anne Hostel. It's very cheap. 24€ per person per night with breakfast and WiFi included :)

I'm going to Japan in April!
Arrival in Tokyo/Narita April 3rd, Departure from Tokio/Narita 22th. My preliminary plain is to stay my first 3.days and last 5.days in Tokyo ( I have some reservation), but up to now between 6th and 17th I'm homeless and opened to sugestions!

I'd like to see Tokyo, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Miyajima, Nikko, Nara and others beautiful places!

let's arrange meeting. I'm ready to meet some of You there ;)

If you whant to visit all Japan you should buy the Japan Rail Pass - it takes you to see all the most great places in Japan. The ticket must be bought out of Japan (you can go to a travel agency) and it's 230€ more a less...

About the places to stay...as I'm staying just in Tokyo I'll recomend you my hostel when I come back if it is good. Visit their page -- http://www.j-hostel.com/

I've just read that Seishun 18 Kippu Rail pass is vaild only to 10th of April (and later in July) so I stay with JR Pass for 14 days. Moreover! My new idea is to visit South Korea too (2 nigths in Busan ;) - Fukuoka - Busan - Fukoka costs 140 Euro - damn! why not less?).

Hi all, I'm a bit late to the party, but - I arrive in Tokyo on 10 March and am staying there for a week before travelling around Japan for a few weeks after that (also going to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka and Okinawa if anyone's in the area).
