Fitness goals!! I think fist and foremost is to be healthy and disease free.
My personal goal is to participate this year's half marathon in New Delhi.which will be held some time in OCT or Nov.
I am regular at ground in the local college. though my waist shrunk to 34 my wight started growing again. Which according to a doctor, is the weight of muscles which is always more that the fat.
hello! I happen to meet you in this fitness club.As an indian culture lover, I am willing to make friends with Indian natives.
Hi! Raj,
After a long time. Been away. Your three months are up. Did you make some muscle mass? I started gymning in real earnest this year, but while away for a week I didn't manage much excercise. Back with a vengeance tomorrow. Haven't lost weight, but I'm feeling great!
Everyone else: How are you all doing? What are you all doing re. fitness in 2009? I hope to keep gyming and make a bit of effort in creating interesting diets for me and the family.
Urmila.
How does one get the paunch down? My husband and I would both like to know!
Urmila.

Urmila I failed to get my paunch in place till the time I focused on reducing weight and getting fit into old dress. It started working the day I focused on to stay healthy and being responsible for myself and my family. Why I want to be fit. The context and purpose of staying healthy did wonders for me. Focus on the purpose and context and you will never have any problem doing anything. For more support you can contact me at

We have now become pretty regular on Yoga and 5BX/ XBX. 2 days of yoga and 5BX/XBX on rest of the days. Besides, we do a decent bit of hiking/ walking when we are out. The biggest improvement is that now we are able to stick to this inspite of our travels (which is a lot).
However, inspite of being as careful as possible w.r.t food, our digestion system goes for a toss every now and then, what with the limited spicy/ oily choice of food on Indian roads. So we get the feeling that our bodies are not getting the right nutrition that should go with exercising. At home, of course, we have much better control of food and eat organic as much as possible.
Am seriously thinking of doing some naturopathy detox kind of treatment to heal my digestion/ liver and also to cure an acidity problem which shows its ugly head every now and then. If anybody knows a good place for a holistic kind of therapy in/ around Pune, do let us know. Does anyone know how good is the NIN - National Institute of Naturopathy? Would like to avoid allopathy and go as natural as possible.
