Hi all !

On the 11th of december we will be celebrating Saint Daniel !

So, what do you think of organizing a crazy meeting all together ?

I thinking about a live webcam connection between all of us at a certain time on that day...

Maybe people who live near each other can have meeting in the flesh in their city ?

Any other suggestions about this ?

I think a world daniel meeting would be great. If enough people came it would be supremely surreal.

Agreed.
How about a real life meeting? For the thing to make sense, it should be more than 10 or so... And we have to find a good location for it.
I think London could be a good alternative, because there flights to London from all over the world... But I am open for other suggesttions (becaus I am also in London myself :)

But if we plan well in advance, the flights should not be too expensive and we should also be able to find some Daniels in London who can host...

Any thoughts?

Tis year (2009) 11th is a friday !

So It will be possible to organize a Daniel's meeting
in London if others Daniels are OK ...

Yes, you are right!
It’s a big party in which all the city centre is involved with music and performances.
During this Festival the historical centre of San Daniele became for a few days a place where you can taste the famous ham everywhere in the many stands they arrange in the squares and streets, drinking some good Italian wine or beer.
You can also visit some of the places where the ham is produced (prosciuttificio).

I’ve been there many years ago, but if you like eating and drinking it’s the right place!

So are you saying yhat San Daniele is twice at year? I've always known that San Daniele was on the 10th of October ....mmmmm
