Here is, for the second time (last year it was in London) The crazy Daniel's meeting!!! On saturday, december, 11th : the Daniel's Day !! It will take place in Germany, in Cologne!! More information about this crazy meeting will come soon!! Just join this meeting if you want to spend crazy time with all Daniels!!!!

Every year on the 8th of December, the Lyonnais light up their windows with little lanterns and go out into the streets to enjoy the thousands of lights and animated projections/spectacles => wikipedia's link in English. These lights constitute a strong tradition for our city and attract millions of visitors every year, all weekend long...For this occasion the CSLyon team prepares it's biggest event - just for you! Parking in the city will be virtually impossible during the whole event. Think of alternatives ways of transportation.Several Low-Cost airlines have connections to nearby airports. (für Information in Deutsch bitte mich kontaktieren, ich wollte nicht alles übersetzen :)) Finally the meeting in Cologne next month is getting in shape. We found a point to meet and you might have guessed that the name of the place is a wonderful one. The get together will be from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Eiscafé Daniela Venloer Staße 666 (U-Bahn Linie 3 - Äußere Kanalstraße) That will give everybody the chance to arrive in Cologne and have some "Kaffee & Kuchen" We will start from there for dinner somewhere else and a crazy Daniels night out in Cologne. It's always been a crazy city, but the Daniel's weekend will be the over-crazyness. So if you name is remotely connected to the wonderful name Daniel, be there or be square! Please update the status on the Couchsurfing event so that we know how many Daniels, Danielas, Dans, Dannys, Danieles and others we can expect! Posted January 30th, 2011 - 9:13 pm by  from Trier, Germany (Permalink)Hi folks, it is a pity that not more of you made it to Cologne to the second annual Daniel's meeting. As my friend Danile (you could have guessed the name) already stated, we started in Eiscafé Daniels. Being the only guests there 4 some Daniels and some other guests that we allowed to join the inner circle of Daniels had some waffels, ice cream and the first few bottles of Kölsch beer. The owner was so nice to take a picture of everybody in front of the cafe, you can see it Daniel's profile. After an afternoon in the ice cream shop we took the underground to city center to meet up with another Couchsurfing group, who organised a Christas Market crawl on that evening. After a nice walk through Cologne we finally met them and they even had another Daniel in their group to raise the Daniel headcount to 5. As it was getting we moved to have some beers in the famous Brauhaus and finally ended up clubbing. In the wee hours the great experience ended in the flat with some drinks and music. So watch out this group for Daniel's Day 2011! |
