Pain relief 10.09.2009 I would love to write a song, I’d sing it all along All through the night and all day Smoothly soothing troubles away. Trying to re-boot my memories Wishing to fix what was hurt once Hoping to get even in my balance No more fussing on old stories. No more to relive the evilness and gain A new casualness relieving pain No muscle and no cell will tell It all again until there’s a new spell. Free me from the past Let my memory re-boot Let new experiences last And let the old ones go … for good Acceptance is the magic word To find my way throughout the mist Of public libraries and frustration Concentrated on my list All the things I ever heard Which give me some consolation No controlled freak anymore No more muscles cramp in hell No-one else will ever yell At me until his voice is sore. No more slapping, bashing, banging, My sub-conscience can be free If those bad thoughts would not be hanging Around my ligaments to bother me. Free me from the past Let my memory re-boot Let my new experiences last And let the old ones go … for good |
