Devil’s challenges Where is my better self? Resting ruthlessly on a shelf? There is a little devil Sometimes sitting in my neck Whispering in my ear really evil Challenging me to do really funny things Never forgetting to tease me Into crazy adventurous ideas and trips His vicious lisping voice humming as it sings: ‘Have fun, fun , fun. Don’t be a fool The party’s just begun Play it cool’ All I want is check How to get him of my back I’ll shock him now, one, two, three… He is speechless and I’m free. Life Description Describe loneliness, describe solitude The people around are loud and rude. Provide no sympathy for each other Nobody holds the door open, they just don’t bother Life’s humble, hard and quick Often it’s also even erratic Before you get the thoughts about it right It’s up and away in a nowhere flight. So I ask you to think harder, To believe stronger and live more intense You haven’t got a second one in the larder You will enjoy it, it’s merits are immense. |
