I joined this group a while ago and read the posts but have not written anything yet. I live in a hot bed of young couchsurfers here in Milwaukee and am so impressed by their openness and good will. I've hosted twice and am looking forward to surfing a couch one of these days. I am a high school math teacher and I love to travel. My partner and I spent the summer visiting my two sons who live in Den Hague and Cork, respectively and had a wonderful time. We both had experiences living in different cultures growing up and as young adults, so we expect travel to be a way to meet people and learn about other cultures. I love reading the posts on 50+ because I get the perspective of people from around the world and the topics are so interesting. Karen
