Would love help planning my RTW trip

Hi everyone...

I am fairly new to this site. I can't even remember how I came across it but I am glad I did.

I am planning to depart on a global trek in June of 2011. It is something I have always wanted to do so am just going to go for it, terrified and all. I plan on doing this solo but want to create relationship with people now so that whereever I choose to go I may know some contacts.

I would love some help planning to since I have done very little travel. My initial idea is to go to Japan as I have a brother there and then follow up with AU and NZ. Further plans I will develop while in South Pacific...just see how it goes....

Could sure use some advice on how to get this started....thanx

I don't know much about NZ and AUs so I can't help you.
but, if you like to talk sometimes : it would be nice
