I have decided that I am going to go ahead with this Picnic. It might just be me and one other person, but that's fine. Good excuse to get outside before it gets too cold to do so! I know the Campout is set for the weekend I am planning this picnic. But I also know that it's 3+ hours for those of us over here in the boondocks of Maryland to get to the location of the campout. So I thought, why not continue the spirit of CouchSurfing on both ends of the state.

I am proposing a picnic out at Rocky Gap State Park. Pot luck. Everyone bring a little something to share. Just to give the local CouchSurfing community here a chance to get to know each other. Maybe jumpstart a more active community here in the very most western part of the state.

I thought we could meet up around 1 PM. Eat some food, maybe play some volleyball. People can swim or hike or get together a soccer match. Whatever suits your fancy.

It's still tentative. I want to see if there's much interest. So please RSVP or send me a message to let me know if you're interested.
