Denver - Yellowstone - Glacier Nat'l Park - Seattle 5/21 - 6/11

I'm flying from FL to DEN on 5/21 and then renting a car and driving 2000 miles via Yellowstone - GNP - Seattle by 6/11 or so

If anyone would like to join me for the ride on any legs of this trip or join me in the parks or hang out for a beer or coffee, or host me for a night or 2, I enjoy meeting people and sharing experiences. I'm into seeing wild critters and nature. I play guitar and I smoke. I will be on a tight budget for lodging, csing when possible, sleeping in car, considering tent camping.

All suggestions welcome!
(I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew!)

Tentative itinerary:

5/21 - 5/24 Denver, CO
5/25 Laramie, WY
5/26 Rawlins, WY
5/27 Jackson Hole
5/28 Grand Tetons
5/29 - 5/31 Yellowstone
6/1 - 6/3 Billings, MT (I heard wild horses around)
6/4 Missoula
6/5 - 6/9 Glacier National Park
6/10 Spokane, WA
6/11 - 6/16 Seattle

This trip didn't work out after all. I found out it was still snowing in Yellowstone and most of it still closed. I ended up flying to CO and spending a few days there in Estes park and then flew to WA and spent a week there. I had a great time!!!

I still want to do this Yellowstone/ Glacier Nat'l trip but will try again in August.

That sounds like a great trip! Did you make it to Yellowstone in the end, or is that still something to be explored?

I would LOVE to go to Yellowstone. I'm flying to LA at the end of April and will then gradually work my way up the coast, finishing with a summer school in Portland in July (3-21). If anyone is up for a trip to Yellowstone (from Portland, Seattle or San Francisco - or wherever) then I'd be interested to hear about it! I'm flying to NY on the 28th of July.

If you did manage to go to Yellowstone - do you have tips?

I never did make it to either GNP or Yellowstone last summer (2011) but I am going late April / early May this year (2012)

I'm leaving FL on April 10 driving to Portland OR where I'll be hanging out for a couple weeks, then heading to Seattle area for a few days and then driving to Glacier Natl Park and the Yellowstone. I can't give an exact date yet but will know more when I'm leaving the Portland area, probably sometime around the first week of May.

If you (or anyone else)would like to hook up on the way, send me a line!

hey! i'm actually going to sea/yvr area this week. & want to travel about into next week.

ironically i was supposed to go to pdx but couldnt. i love pdx; been to the kennedy school yet?

anyway let me know if you end up wandering about the nw. i'd love to see WY, GNP, Yellowstone, Oly Pen, or whatever.
