How to Travel in the NW?
Posted July 31st, 2011 - 5:23 am by  from Denver, United States (Permalink)I'm going to be traveling for the next few months in the Pacific NW starting but I'm going to be coming in from Butte, MT. I'll be in Butte for work and then want to head West mid August. Anyone know the best/cheap way to get from MT to either Portland or Seattle. Planes, trains, or buses?? Any will do :-) The Amtrak only stops in Northern MT. What are some of the bus companies that might be cheaper than greyhound? Amtrak seems pretty cheap from Portland to Vancouver so that will probably be be the route I take with that one, unless there is a better option.
