I am a camper in near the Gunks and frequently in New Paltz and would like to couch surf as soon as possible.

I studied biology in college, and have been involved in animal rights advocacy, pacifism, and environmentalism with online organizations. One of the most important goals of mine is to maintain an alternative lifestyle. I would like to become a permaculturist at some point soon to be independent and self-sustaining with minimal environmental impact and capital beside the initial investment. I have been a raw foodist for eight years and would like to teach others with health troubles about its amazing healing power. I have been coming to the Hudson Valley since 1978 when my family got a house in the area, which we had until about 1985. I have hiked the Gunks thoroughly and love them. Contact me for references.
