from Castellon de la Plana, Spain (Permalink) I prefer the Sagrada Familia inside, but I hate what has been built there, at the façade, after Gaudí's death, it's horrible.
My grandfa Jaume lived in Barcelona about 25 years, til 1934, and when he was young was working for Gaudí just at Parc Güell. He told, when I was a teenager, the great Architect was a mystic and a very perfectionist person, every morning walked around and was watching what workers had been making, and usually tell them to do it again and again.
I remember I stayed impressed that my grandfa worked for a so incredible person. I guess my love for Barcelona started specially then.
