I have just arrived back from Berlin today after a 20 hour coach journey to London.

I'll be back to Berlin for a couple of weeks in April so we should cook! I would like to share my favourite recipe with you. It's something typically British with a vegan twist.

my already written answer seems to have slipped away, so I´ll give it a new try.
If your path leads you to beautiful Freiburg in the Black Forest lets cook together with my wonderful girlfriend, she gave me the inspiration to try to live more and more vegan after becoming vegetarian and she is the best vegan you can ever imaging, she knows everything and behaves in the kindest way consequently! It´s not so difficult with the "big" things like milk, cheese, eggs, honey or leather, but it´s almost a science about all the small and smaller hidden ingredients!
If you like I can even organize a kitchen and we can invite people. Private or public including our neighbours from Switzerland. We can inform our newspaper, we can make it bigger or smaller - you see, sometimes I like projects and I like yours!
Lets go vegan more in Freiburg, even if it is called Green City it´s not so bright at this time.
Let me know your coming early enough Dear!

Hi Kathi,

if you find yourself in the UK and fancy a visit to Somerset my partner and I would love to host you and cook something vegan. My mother has been a vegan for over 30 years and I have been for most of my life, my partner is a lifelong vegetarian and has recently given up dairy after discovering about the processes used. I myself am a bit hit and miss in the kitchen but my partner is very inventive.

You're most welcome to come join our vegan crew in Southern Sweden, at any time you like, for (for example) some Ital stew Swedish style with red beetroot and sunflower seeds. :)

thank you all! I hope I actually can cook with the most of you! Sorry for my delay in replying! Costa Rica keeps me busy although it´s kind of hard to find a vegan Tico who would like to cook with me! But a few days are left and I am positive! :)
When I get back to Berlin I´m going to make the next travel plan! Not sure yet where I´m starting but it will be Europe for now! If I´m coming to a cuntry of any of you I definately let you know!

I'd love to meet up and cook something, although I guess we would have to do it in your place, since I don't think it's proper to invite people over your host's home :)
I will think about something Chilean to cook, but sadly the Chilean Vegan staples I can think of use fresh ingredients that for the most part can only be found here, but I guess we could try to cook sth anyway, and I'd love to learn how to cook sth German that I can the cook back when I'm in Chile for other vegans.

If you come to Israel (I saw you have few invitations already... then I think you should come!) - I will be nice meeting you.
In our home we cook mostly Indian and Ladakhi (Tibetan) food (all vegan, of course) and also many sweets... cakes, cookies, perlins and more...

Okay, so far I got America, Belgium, Canada, China, Costa Rica, England, Pakistan, Poland, Russia and Finnland. (And I´m planning to cook with Belarus and Peru in the next two weeks) :)

Still lot´s to do and I´m thinking about some Skype-cooking-meetings to catch up. Who would like to join me? ;)

Hi Kathi! your idea sounds great! I'm doing more or less the same thing in Central America :)
I'm italian, living in Guatemala and Ill hitchhike soon down to Colombia, looking for CSers to stay with and cook vegan food together (if you know any tell me, they're not many!)
I also opened a website for vegan cooks, targeting mainly spanish speakers. My idea is to create an international network, and hopefully organize an international meeting in some country in south america, for example Colombia in 2013. The direction of the website is http://cocinerosveganossinfronteras.wordpress.com (vegan cooks without borders ;)

If you ever come to Colombia you're invited to play with me in the kitchen!
