Vegan Restaurants in Warszawa und Gdansk
Does anybody know some vegan Restaurants in this polnish Citys?
I liked Vege Miasto in Warsaw, just off ul. Chmielna (there's a sign on the street). Really cozy place that's open until late. Not sure if it's 100 % vegan but the staff spoke excellent German and English.
I looked it up on google and there you can get vegan food. very good :-) thank you Janni :-) I am sure we will try this restaurant ;-)

Last time I was at Au Lac, Chmielna 10 (at city center), little bar with oriental food. Unfortunately, they have also meat dishes, but there is a huge vegan menu and vegan food is preparing in a separate kitchen. You have some specialties like vegan prawns.
It was in Warsaw (I forgot to admitt)

Angelina, there isn't yet vegan culture in polish veggie restaurants. Same with vegetarian options in classic polish restaurant or bar, pretty non existent.
When i had cooked meals before i tried to stay away from Green Way or other veggie places just because they dont offer fresh food. They have external catering company providing them with all "ready" meals and with day passing by, that food tastes worse and worse. Especially salads.
good luck with finding fresh colourful inspiring meals.
For me more fun and less risky is eating at fruit&veg open markets where you can get delicious polish tomatoes, cucumbers (great meal outdoors:) and top it up with cheap grapes and nectarines from Italy.
your stomach does not have to be waste basket..
In Gdansk, there is a vegan art cafe named FUKAFE. Is a nice place. It's so close to the city centre. The guy who was working there told me that they were planning to move.
Anyway you can find there a lot of delicious vegan cakes :)
That's the adress: Olejarna 2

Green way is in the whole Poland, so if you for ex. in Warsaw or Poznań, you can find it too. But it's good for vegetarians, not for vegans. If you're vegan, you have to ask what is for you and the offer is rather small.

There's a delicious Vegan and mostly raw restaurant in Warsaw called Surya Raw Restaurant - It's in an awesome almost cavernous location as well not too far from the Old Town Village...
