hello,
why should the cow die? only if we don't feed them, maybe .... the milk is for their babys - they would be lucky to drink it ....

Once I was on a camp on a farm,I asked the farmer what if you let the milk be there and the calves use them, he said the mother will die! thats why I said that guys; I myself haven't drink milk since I was 6,and have NEVER eat butter.

Oh Zigi, you are so wise beyond your years!
I've been a vegetarian for 38 years...that's much longer than most of you have been on the planet...and what you say is true.

Here's just a start, an introduction to many of us here on Earth:

Do you really believe that a cow would die if we didn't use her milk? I hope it is a joke. If not, here is the explanation about milk:
A cow produces milk to feed her baby and just as it is with us humans, only as long as the baby needs the milk. Milk cows are forced to give birth regularly in order to keep the milk production flowing and her calves are being either slaughtered and eaten (male) or also used as milk cows (female).
And vegans don't use animal products because we don't believe in exploiting other beings for our purposes. For me that also includes no clothes from sweatshop companies and non-fair trade exotic stuff like chocolate and fruit.

considering the fact that cows are impregnated forcefully without their will, if there is no more demand for milk then there simply won't be this many cows, water and corn need and pollution such as methane emission. not drinking milk, something we humans do not need at all, not only frees the animals but also helps lessen the production/demand. in fact this production could easily be used to feed people. hunger is not a technological problem rather it is a political issue.
by the way if the cow was to die if she was not milked then how did the cows survive some 11.000 years ago before they were evervdomesticated by humans?
