I am in the process of purging most of my material belongings to take on a vagabonding, freegan lifestyle. I will be arriving in NYC on Xmas eve to stay for an indefinite amount of time helping with hurricane recovery, and would like to meet other people who have adopted similar consumption rights and responsibilities. If you live in NYC, let me know if you can assist in showing me the freeganism ropes in your vast city which is completely unknown to me.
