Davison versus Composite Charts
Posted January 27th, 2010 - 2:20 pm by from Singapore, Singapore (Permalink)
Hello, I'm new to this community. But I have been reading charts for quite awhile (close to 10 years but sporadically and not professionally, just for close friends).

When it comes to relationships, which analysis do you prefer?
Davison or composite? Any experience with either of these?

Davison is done by adding up the time & date plus the Lattitude and Longtitude of two persons and then dividing it by two to come up with a new 'birth time' for the couple.

Davison is used to counter the fact that the composite chart is a 'fake' chart, as in, it does not exist in real world terms and therefore it is impossible to do progressions or transits for a composite while it is possible to do that for the Davison.

I was just wondering what people who have experience with both would suggest to use.
