looking for a climbing partner in rio!!

Hi, I'm looking for a climbing partner for this month in Rio. I have equipment, ropes etc and 2 harnesses if needed but am not very experienced with sport climbing. would like to climb with somebody with a bit more experience. i work as a high ropes instructor in an adventure centre back in Ireland but my climbing experience is limited. Hi Damian, in 10 days I will be in rio.
I have harnes and shoes, but not yet a place to stay in rio. Actually I´m travelling close to sao Paulo now.
I don´t know anything about climbing in Rio but I have 15 years climbinbg experience, so we can surely do someting.
I´ll write you again when in Rio.

Hows Matteo. Sounds good! I have a spare harness but no spare shoes. I have scouted out a couple of the areas around urca and i have the guide book to climbing in the area. Let me know when you are coming and we can arrange a days climbing. Tchau, Damian.

Hi damian, I'm in Rio.
I'm sleeping in a hostel in Botafogo in these days.
Where do you live in Rio?
Friday would be a good day to go to climb if you can?
By the way, can you play host to me some days, also paying a contribution!
I don't know if I can survive in Rio for a long, it is too expensive! haha

Hi Matteo, Friday sounds good! Ill send you my number before you arrive. im in copacobana and I would give you a couch to sleep on but my Brazilian girlfriend wont allow it. she doesnt really know or understand the couchsurfing thing so she doesnt like the idea. very sorry! I can recommend some hostels which are more central if you like? anyway, ill be in touch before friday. do you have a mobile? Tchau
