Functionality is contrary to what is useful. When I search for a city then try to add age parameters the system keeps refreshing the page so that I can't scroll down to where the parameters are hidden. Change for the sake of change, not a good idea. If there is a loss in functionality, then it is for naught -r This member has chosen to allow only Couchsurfing members to see their group posts. Hate it too, all of you said the right, the colour is painful for my eyes. I hope this new design didn't cost still some money... and I hope one of the responsible persons will read our posts. Cheers Helmut I use Mozilla Firefox, version 16.0.2. and my computer shows rectangular photos for most of the site. "Recent Friends Online" and "People Looking for a Host" have circles, but if I click on one of the round photos, the information comes up with a rectangular photo. I like that you can hold the cursor over the photo and get the basic information of the writer, but the site might have already had that feature and I didn't know it. Haven't checked out maneuvering through the site yet. By the way, the CS team asks what we think of the new look. Did they actually change important functions also? As I use it more, maybe I will find some features that are not as functional as before; but, contrary to most of the writers, I actually find it easier to read - somehow cleaner and I don't mind the white at all. So, so far, I would say it looks good. |
