Songs against the war

Songs to remember to all human beings how terrible any war is and to inspire everybody towards peace.

This one is an Italian song written to remember the first world war. The Italian- Slovenian border, particularly the city of Gorizia was the scenario of a terrible battle, where the poor soldier of both nationalities died. The song tells that the rich people who have the power always sleep in warm bed and the majority of the soldiers who die are poor , common people.

Cadence - didn't go to the link as my internet here is spotty so I don't know who is singing. But the Jackson Browne version of this song is my favourite ( as is the entire album - esp. the Christian rebel song)
