The profile pic I have at the moment shows me stood with one leg each side of the equator line in Bojol, Sumatra.
I like it because it shows the bike I travel the world on, my home for years..
I do look a bit bedraggled as I have been in the jungle for days...which is my normal look LOL

I om like Lotuslander & don't like having my picture taken. As this is a website for travellers & would be's I posted one taken in Northern Argentina by the guide for the day.

I like Scotty's picture 'cos he looks so cheerful and L'lander's for the same reason. Thanks Annarital for the explanation for your pic. George's photo I assume was taken during one of his travels.

Why do I still find it weird that while one side of the world is eating tangerines for Xmas, the other enjoys the cherries?
Good morning from a -thank god(dess), finally- sunny Antalya after breakfast while warming my feet on the radiator and sipping my after breakfast tea with cardamoms and cloves and typing this...

Thanks for posting the recipe for 'white Christmas'. They looked interesting. If I can find the ingredients I will make them this Christmas season. I love the word 'sultana'. It makes our ordinary sounding raisins seem exotic!
