Haha... same here. I took great while to adapt my eyes to the bright white CS homepage background, :-) However I don't think its our age, I used to do programming before and I have to say simplicity and pleasant user experience is something CS team need to focus, rather than "fancy" and "new outlook" here and there. The world is colorful enough... back to simplicity, lol.

I'm dumped in Manchester and Huddersfield - miles from where we live. I guess it's all part of CS's 'come sign up for free accommodation' strategy. If they make the areas big it makes it look like there's hundreds of available hosts. The fact that most are too far away to be practical won't be discovered until they've signed up and parted with their cash....

Wow! Haven't been here for a while, and I was completely lost trying to find my groups etc. VERY confusing!

I find my small town has been placed under a city one hour north of my location (Peterborough) Not a big deal (distance wise), but not exactly where you would think to find my town. I'm 45 minutes east of Toronto (and part of the GTA - Greater Toronto Area), just off a major highway ( hwy 401 here, but Trans-Canada hwy throughout the rest of the country - runs from coast to coast). I get very few requests as is, since most people want to stay in the heart of Toronto, but I surely won't show up on searches now :(

The Toronto group has changed completely. There was so much information for travellers there - top 100 things to do in Toronto, how to get to Niagara Falls etc, things travellers appreciated. Now it's all gone.

I can't imagine how those travelling are feeling right now using this new format.

Is this just the beginning? Are all the groups going to be switched to this new and "improved" CS?
