hmmm. never mind. i gladly forgo the former for the latter's sake.
anyway, went to market with youngest daughter and grandson. now, we are gloating over a case of 12 fat, golden mangoes with pink cheeks and a basket of dark glowing ruby cherries...
the gorgeous curves of the fruit are rivalled by emma's growing belly. how well pregnancy suits my beautiful girl! she has never looked more lovely. i just want to spoil and spoil my shining child.
her little nephew maxli, now 7 1/2, is very protective of his favourite auntie.
he insisted on schlepping the fruit box to the car, with grandma and told off wallydog: 'don't you jump all over our baby. out you go'. how sweet it all is. happy, happy days.

When I had a great big Easter Sunday family party, with 3 generations and cholate bunnies and stuff hidden all around the garden, I stored it all in the locked summer house at the end of the garden.
I have many guests and I have invited them all to choose between Shaw's Corner (George Bernard Shaw's House) or The Chocolate factory, where we buy delicious mishapen seconds chocolates. EVERYBODY has chosen the chocolate factory!
I am giving pink gin and delicious flapjack to friends for Christmas.
