Hi patty, I will be in staying at the www.downtownbeds.com hostel from Jan 23-Feb 1...I think it will take at least a week to see Mexico City...then was planning to travel to Oaxaca for a week and possibly flying to Havana with stop in Belize city on the way to or from...want to visit Merida or wherever. Are you planning on renting a car. I would be interested in chipping in if you are. I was taking a bus or flying. Haven't got my air ticket to Mexico yet so not sure how long I'll be traveling but Feb 28 looks like the end of my trip. Do you have friends there because all the places you seem to have in mind are Canadian/American enclaves? david This member has chosen to allow only Couchsurfing members to see their group posts. Thanks for the input...If your around Mexico City at that time, look me up at the hostel I mentioned...got a bid in to stay with couchsurfer's in Oaxaca and open after that...want to fly to Havana...thanks david PS I've driven in Mexico but never at night and never a problem...but never alone either! |
