My family got together in Itapoá beach: my parents, their 6 children + spouses, grand children, relatives, friends... lots of people, I tell you! Now, let´s enjoy 2013 :) I am glad you like the tree mosaic! Thank you for the compliments. @ Marilyn, Mom prepared the most delicious maze gohan, while some prepared fish, barbecue, salad: all-style feast, that´s typically Brazilian... @ Cadence, in portuguese we say formidável! I will copy your resolution. Many times started to learn French, will study more resoluted this year. @ JP, would love to have one of my mosaics in your wall. Big hugs to all! Emi. (some of us say that is getting back at the cheeky birds a bit, for vandalizing our fruit trees and berry bushes)well, they settle down again, as soon as we all head home. a happy, healthy and prosperous new year to everyone, and hopefully, we'll all get in some travelling, in the next 12 months. i'll sure try. :>) roo Happy New Year from one of the last places on the planet that will celebrate the event. Most of you to the west of the international date line and just west of the prime meridian will be nursing hangovers as we pop champagne corks here in Alaska. Well, that cork-popping is figurative for me, I think I'll go skiing at midnight and maybe have a shot of bourbon at the stroke. A toast to the adventure of life! Emi, I would love to have one of your mosaics to hang on a bare wall near my wood burning stove. If you might be interested, let's figure out a way to make it worth your while and to get it shipped way up north. Let's stay in touch. Hope you all get lost traveling in 2013! |
