Hi we are Swedish people and in 2003 we visited NZ for 3 months and we stayed in Auckland with surroundings.
We stayed at Piha beach, very nice campsite run by an English lady.
I suppose you will buy a van like we did and then sell it before you leave?
This is the cheapest way to travel.
But it depends how long you stay.
Anyway we did wwoofinng on three farms
Please feel free to mail me on tulsiolsson@yahoo.com

Hi Britt and Ruby,
we are a Dutch couple and living in Germany but most of the time traveling all around the world. At the time our Van is in Uruguay witch we will pick up half september to finish our trip from Alaska to Patagonia. somewhere next year.
You did buy a van in NZ! Did you lost a lot of money as you sold the van again, would be good to know the possibility to do that, no problem with insurance? In US you would because you have no adresse in US or US drivers license.
