Nottingham calling

It sounds, to me, a superb idea and I'm quite open to people coming to my house. I'm sure that Ella my beautiful labradoodle will not mind me saying this. Yes we are of an age but we can still enjoy ourselves. My only concern is that my house is basic. Clearly it has running water showers and washing facilities etc the bed is a single and there are cushions on the floor, which I'm told are quite comfortable. But as long as we both recognise this before anyone wishes to stay then we are not under any delusion. I noticed that another couch surfer is offering their property in Chesterfield - maybe you could stop on the way up? Charles

I get it with the aging thing and sometimes I think I'm in a twisted version of The Picture of Dorian Gray sans the narcissism. Have you read the book or seen the film? Also as a dog lover/owner (2 Tibetan Terriers)I loved your photos of Ella. She looks like a real love. My next dog may be a labradoodle as well. Terrific dog. I'll be visiting England from July 14 until August 3 with most of my time to be spent in London and Devon/Cornwall as well as a 4 day trip to Paris. I may venture your way. Would you please have any space and/or time available at somewhat short notice during that time frame? Or could you please give me an idea of any time you may have available. I will be traveling solo. I'd love to hear back from you but regardless thanks for opening my eyes to more possibilities. Ciao for now, Marcia
