I think that the low level of response in such an active group is an indication that these things are just not a priority for people in this group.

I made my original post at least in part in response to things that I saw posted here - lack of diversity amongst older CS members and expressions (in various forms) that some younger members are not pulling their weight. I haven't seen similar expressions elsewhere.

I am definitely not complaining. My experience of CS to date has been entirely positive.
