The BEST way to announce this event is to create a meeting event and send out invitations. I suggest using a CouchSearch to find CSer's within a four-hour drive to start, then target North, West, South states that are up to ten-hour drive.
I'm happy to talk you through the process.
There's probably 200-300 members total whom fit the 50s+ age mark and I'd say to expect no more than a 5% RSVP rate when giving enough time of notice + reminders.
Exposure using the meeting system is the key to getting participants.
